Confusion Is Not of God

Hello everyone! I’m back! And as promised….here is a blog post 🙂

Confusion is not of God. That’s the title of this blog post….but most importantly it is something that I want all of you reading this to understand.
I’ll say it again…..confusion is not of God.

And in a previous blog post, Letting Go, and Letting God, I spoke a point about confusion being one of the enemies biggest tactics. And that statement still remains true.

You see, Satan wants to still, kill, and destroy a child of God. And if he can’t do it physically, he’ll try to do it mentally by adding confusion into your life.
And if Satan can get to your mental space, then he can utterly try and bring you down.

And for that person who is in a state confusion, it can do serious damage to your spiritual life by not only inducing confusion but fear, and anxiousness.

For starters- confusion can cause a person to be deterred from their purpose. You see, God has given us a purpose. He stated in His Word that He knows his plans for us- plans to prosper us- not to harm us. Plans to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). When confused, one can not see their purpose. Instead, they only see their circumstances and not the promise that God has given to them.

Along with deterrence from purpose, confusion also halts peace from the life of a believer. Without peace- life seems chaotic. A chaotic mind is not rational to the things of Christ but of the flesh. That is a dangerous way to think and live as a believer because the mind governed by flesh is death, but the mind governed by the spirit is life and peace (Romans 8:6). A mind that is also without peace if often susceptible to anxiousness, which can stop a believer from fully trusting and relying on God- halting their faith in Him.

Confusion that Satan causes also provokes fear in a believer. This damages the growth of a believer because it only allows them to focus on something that is not of God. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of a sound mind (1 Timothy 1:7).  Living in a mind filled with fear can stop a person from reaching their full potential in Christ. It can also make a person miss the blessing that God has in store for them.  And this is sad because God has so many wonderful things He’d like to give each and every one of his children.

Personally, I went through a state of confusion- and it wasn’t pretty. It was bleak, bland, and very unpretty. I felt lost- like I was just traveling through darkness. But with much prayer and supplication, God brought me out. I  had overcome walking through darkness and I stepped into the marvelous light.

And just like me, some of you reading this could have been or could be in a state of confusion. And if you are, just know that God is for you and He will not leave you in that state for long. He has plans for you and He does love you. And to emphasize that, I added this picture to show you how God works.

Notice that the word confusion is underlined.

Confirmation from God brings peace- more specifically His perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3) God wants us to rest in his peace, and if you aren’t getting that- maybe confusion has taken hold….

Know that confusion has no place in your life.

Know that Satan only wants to confuse you.

Know that God wants you to have peace.

And know that confusion is not of God.

With love,

Malaysia
