Being Thankful

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. ” Psalm 100:4-5

Verse four of the verse above was the verse that I woke up to for verse of the day. And verse five just tops it off, in my opinion.

All week long, I had been waiting anxiously for this day, Thanksgiving, to write this blog post. Cause all week long, I’ve just been filled with thankfulness.

I thank Him for waking me up. For clothes on my back, for life, health, and strength. I thank Him that my mercies are renewed everyday. I thank Him that my sins are cast into the sea of forgetfulness.

We should thank God for everything– the lows as well as the highs. Thank Him even when it seems hard to. Thank Him that you have Jesus Christ interceding for you. Once again, thank Him for everything.

I know this blog post sounds repetitive, but I’m letting my hands do the moving. I do not have an outline for today. I can’t, not when I’m giving thanks to my God for all he has done.

We should thank the Father at all times. Praise His name. Bless His name.

And if you are going through the hard spots right now in your journey, thank Him. Because if He brought you through one time, He can bring you through another time. Even if you are at rock bottom, remember that Jesus is the rock at the bottom. Thank the Lord for that.

We serve an awesome God. A wonderful God deserving of praise. His praise shall and will always be continuously on my mouth.

And I praise Him especially when I look back on where He has bought me from. Because if it had not been for the goodness of Jesus…..I wouldn’t be here today.

So I end with a prayer:

Father, thank you. Thank you for all that you are. All that you are doing, and all that you are going to do. Lord, even though I fall short every single day you still love me. And for that I praise you. I bless your name Father. Lord, I pray that whoever is reading this is blessed beyond measure. Give them what they need Lord, and not what they want. Thank you Lord, forever and ever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

With Love,

Malaysia
