By Grace

“For is is by grace you have been saved through faith-and not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2: 8-9

GRACE. This one thing has been on my heart so much lately. In my last blog post, Humble Yourself, Kid., I talked about being humbled. And grace and humbleness go hand in hand in my book. Let me explain:

When God was humbling me (and still is), He lead me to Ephesians 2:8-9. He told me that grace is why I’m still here. Grace and mercy, which is love. And God is love (1 John 4:8), so it flows perfectly together. Anyway, God’s grace is the ultimate humbling experience because it teaches you to really depend on God.

I love grace. It almost always deepens my love for God. Like lately, it seems as though His conviction and correction has strengthened me. He has strengthened my faith and love for Him, all through grace.

Grace is simply God’s favor. His undeserved love for us is unbelievable. But believe it because it’s true. We have done nothing for him to keep on loving us and pushing us. And we sin all the time, yet he still has a plan for us. That’s grace.

“Although I am less than least of all the Lord’s people, this was the grace given me…” Ephesians 3:8

I also love this verse written by Paul. I’ve started to see myself just as my main man Paul described himself: less than the least of all of the Lord’s people. Throughout Him humbling me, He’s shown me my faults. And with that, He’s also bestowed grace upon me. God has allowed me to know that I’m not all of that and a bag of chips, but I’m His. And being His child is perfectly alright with me.

I am the least of the least, but it is by grace I have been saved.

With that, I’ll end with a prayer:

Lord, thank you for Your grace. Thank you that I am the least of the least yet you have chosen me. Father, continue to mold me into Your image. Guide me and reveal unto me Your plans for me. I praise and bless Your name. Thy will be done. In Jesus name, Amen.

P.S ,

Pray that He will show you His grace in your everday lives, and watch as you begin to get humbled. Don’t take it bad, but as growth.
