Chosen Grace

Look at all the different species of flowers. There are tulips, roses, daffodils, sunflowers…and so on and so forth. God created them all different. 

That’s one of the most important aspects about God. He loves different and unique things. He likes us to be different. That’s why He made everyone just the way they are. 

But so many people fail to realize that they are fearfully and wonderfully made.  We either put ourselves below or above someone. We always compare ourselves to celebrities and the “popular” people at school. 

And teenagers are the worst at it. We are forever and always doubting out self worth. I’m guilty of it myself. 

There are times that I don’t feel valuable or worthy. By God comes in and reminds me that I have been given worth by Him. He reminds me time after time that I’m something special. 

And I love God for that. 

I am learning to be myself. I used to get bullied when I was younger, and that made me real self conscious. But as I got  older, I just pushed passed what I was called and I started being myself. 

Being yourself in Christ is the best thing ever because you don’t have to pretend with Him, besides–He already knows your ins and outs anyway. 

I’m still working on my individuality. But I’ve come to the part where I just do my own thing, and don’t care what anyone has to say. So that’s progress in itself. 

For those struggling, just be yourself…and watch God send the right people to you.
